10-Day The Heart & Soul of Tibet Trek

This tour starts in Lhasa, the sacred city and capital of Tibet, where we will explore its great palaces, monasteries and temples. We drive to Ganden Monastery and start 4-day trek over the Tibetan mountains to Samye, the first and holiest monastery of Tibet.

Day01:Arrvial in Lhasa Stay: Hotel
Fly from Chengdu to Lhasa.

Day02-03: Lhasa Sightseeing Stay: Hotel
Potala Palace, Norbulinka, Drepung & Sera monasteries, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor.

Day04: Lhasa-Gandan Stay: Camp
Drive to Ganden. Vist Ganden Monastery. Walk to campsite for camping.

Day05-08:Gandan - Samye Trekking Stay: Camp
Trekking over the Tibetan mountains to Samye. Camping.

Day09: Samye – Tsetang Stay: Camp
Visit Samye Monastery. Drive to Tsetang. Visit Yambu Lakhang and Tombs of the ancient Tibetan Kings.

Dan10: Exit Tibet Tour End
Transfer to airport for flight to Chengdu. End of Tour.

TOUR COST INCLUDES
1. Tibet Permit & entrance fees;
2. English speaking Tibet guide;

To travel to Tibet, you would need a valid Chinese visa & a special travel permit. Only those who join package tours are qualified to obtain the permit.
