Daily Itinerary
Day 01: (D) Arrival in Lhasa Stay: Lhasa
Our guide will pick you up at Lhasa airport, where the altitude is 3,600 meters above sea level. Check in at the hotel. The a la carte dinner will be arranged for you at a local best Sichuan cuisine restaurant.
Day 02: (B+L+D) Lhasa Stay: Lhasa
Visit the magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, visit the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a Tibetan family. Dinner is served at your hotel.
Day 03: (B+L+D) Lhasa Stay: Lhasa
Visit Drepung Monastery. After having a western-style lunch, go ahead to visit the Jokhang Temple, the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street, the Carpet Factory and the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital. Dinner is served at your hotel.
Day 04: (B+L+D) Lhasa - Gyangtse Stay: Gyangtse
Drive to Gyangtse. Stop off at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake. Transfer to the hotel. Visit the Palkhor Monastery and the Gyangtse Old Street. Dinner is served at your hotel.
Day 05: (B+L+D) Gyangtse – Shigatse Stay: Shigatse
Drive to Shigatse and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Tashilunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen.
Day 06: (B+L+D) Shigatse – Dingri Stay: Dingri
Drive to Dingri and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Sakya Monastery and Lhatse city.
Day 07: (B+L+D) Dingri - Everest Base Camp - Dingri Stay: Dingri
Drive to the Everest Base Camp and visit Rongbuk Monastery. Return to Dingri.
Day 08: (B+L+D) Dingri – Shigatse Stay: Shigatse
Drive back to Shigatse and transfer to the hotel.
Day 09: (B+L+D) Shigatse - Lhasa Stay: Lhasa
Return to Lhasa and transfer to the hotel. Dinner is served at your hotel.
Day 10: (B) Departure from Lhasa Tour End
Visit the Tibet Museum, time permitting. See off.
